Meghan Smith, LMSW is a Licensed Master of Social Work working toward her Independent Social Worker (LISW) license. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work with a minor in Psychology, followed by a Master of Social Work from Clarke University. Meghan is licensed to provide mental health therapy services in Iowa and is currently in phase two of her Registered Play Therapist (RPT) designation with the Association for Play Therapy. In addition, she is a 200-hour certified yoga teacher with a 95-hour specialization in youth and toddler yoga.
Meghan is a dedicated therapist with a deep passion for fostering emotional well-being and personal growth. She specializes in supporting individuals navigating Anxiety, ADHD, Life Transitions, Mood Disorders, Relationship Challenges, School Concerns, and Trauma. Her client-centered, strengths-based approach is tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual she works with.
Believing in the connection between mind and body, Meghan integrates mindfulness and movement into her therapeutic practice. She incorporates yoga and mindful education as tools to support emotional regulation and holistic healing. As a board member of Mindful Minutes, she advocates for accessible mindfulness and yoga education, helping individuals cultivate self-awareness, emotional balance, and resilience.
Beyond her work with Mindful Minutes, Meghan is the owner of Inner Harmony Wellness Services, LLC, where she provides individual therapy for children, adolescents, and adults out of Bridget Bartlett Counseling in Dubuque. Outside of her professional roles, Meghan enjoys spending time with her family and friends—especially her two daughters and two dogs—as well as reading, practicing and teaching yoga, long walks with friends, and engaging in lifelong learning.
